A new life for all of us!

After a pretty intense birth day which ended in a caesarean and was followed by some unexpected excitement due to gastro-intestinal issues (finally a big wind) (correction by Laura, actually she swallowed poo in the womb) we are finally home and putting on life on track again.
This is both Stella's new life as ours because it is obvious that this will never the same again :-)
For now Stella has only one mode of communication (crying) which sometimes makes it difficult to figure out if she i) is hungry or ii) has a dirty diaper or iii) is simply bored. Stella loves being driven around in the stroller and once she lies down in the maxi cozy she acutely falls asleep.
Unfortunately, it is already getting colder so when we go out Stella has to be well dressed. The result is a rather surprised looking Stella that looks like a little Michelin girl. As you can see in the picture some of her clothes are a bit on the large side and her hands are barely visible :-)
She might have her mother's hair and eyes, but she clearly has her daddies tongue!
Anyway, the first steps have been made and we are excited about what's ahead of us.
